The WFPHA Has Attended Cuba-Health 2022: The 4th International Health Convention

The WFPHA attended Cuba-Health 2022: The 4th International Health Convention in Havana, Cuba, represented by its President, Prof. Luis Eugenio De Souza.

During the inaugural ceremony, he composed the opening table of the event alongside the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez, and the Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Carissa F. Etienne, in addition to other authorities.

On October 20, Prof. Souza also participated in a round table, “Ethics and Metrics of Equity in Health: The Most Sensitive Indicator of Social Justice”, alongside colleagues Nereida Rojo Pérez (Cuba), Oscar Mujica (PAHO), Juan Garay (European Union Cooperation in Cuba), and Rômulo Paes (Brazil).
