World Congress
on Public Health
The 18th World Congress on Public Health will be held from September 6 to 9, 2026, in the vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa.
This prestigious event will be jointly organized by the World Federation of Public Health Associations and the Public Health Association of South Africa. The Congress’s main theme, “Equity Without Borders: Equity, Inclusion, and Sustainability,” is particularly timely in our increasingly complex global landscape.
In a world shaped by war, political instability, epidemics, and deeply rooted injustices, Equity, Inclusion, and Sustainability are more than just themes; they are essential pillars of public health and fundamental rights protecting people and the planet.
This Congress brings together global health leaders, experts, and practitioners to explore how these guiding principles can drive a unified and effective response to the world’s most urgent health challenges. Participants will engage in dynamic discussions, forge meaningful international collaborations, and develop innovative solutions to advance global public health.
Together, we will work towards ensuring a future of health without borders for generations.
The Congress website, www.wcph.org, is live and will be regularly updated with the latest information. We encourage you to visit the site to stay informed and to mark your calendars with the key dates for abstract submissions and registration.
We look forward to welcoming public health professionals from around the world to Cape Town in 2026 for what promises to be an inspiring and impactful event!
