Event Description: Collaboration and co-design are at the heart of public health and are essential to enable health services, policies and initiatives to meet the needs of the populations they serve. In this free masterclass hosted by the Council of Academic Public Health Institutions Australasia (CAPHIA), we will explore co-design tools used in practice to reform health systems.

Leading academics will present case studies showcasing best practice co-design tools and share evidence-informed recommendations with academics and public health leaders across the globe.

Event Description: Mongolian Association for Professionals of Family Medicine and Federation of Soum Health Center Professionals jointly will organize “Workshop on Empowering and Protection Our Communities” with the participation of representatives of the Mongolian Women’s Federation, Mongolian Red Cross, Health Journalists Federation “White Pen” and National Center for Child Rights and Mongolian Erdely Federation. The objectives are information and experience sharing on what have been done for the protection and empowerment of our communities, find out what the challenges are in empowering and protecting our community and determine the ways to intensify community empowerment and protection measures. Each workshop organizer’s representative will provide a presentation on how the organization responds to the empowerment and protection of their relevant target groups, what challenges exist, and how to solve the problems. After the presentations, during question-and-answer time, every participant’s involvement and free discussion on best practices and gaps in empowering and protecting the community are encouraged. As a result, the participants will have more solid understanding of empowerment and protection of community, the challenges they face and solutions for empowerment and protection and learnt lessons from others. All information about the event will be displayed on the relevant websites of the organizations that participated in this workshop and disseminated through the channels of Health Journalists Federation networks.
