GPHW2023: Public Health Education for a Sustainable and Equitable Future: Workshop

Event Description: In this free workshop hosted by the Council of Academic Public Health Institutions Australasia (CAPHIA) we will explore the role of public health education in creating a sustainable and equitable future throughout Australasia. CAPHIA’s Call to Action will be presented, which addresses the following questions:

1. What is the vision and role of public health education in a sustainable and equitable future?
2. What are the responsibilities of public health educators in achieving this vision?What priority knowledge, skills and qualities do we need to embed across public health curricula?
3. What teaching and learning strategies can we adopt to deliver these curricula?

This workshop will allow for the exploration of ideas and methods targeted at embedding this call to action across public health sectors with academics and leaders around the globe.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions in this interactive workshop. The event will be available for viewing after the session at www.vimeo.com/caphia along with some take-home messages.
