WFPHA is governed by a small group of elected Officers and an elected Executive Board. WFPHA also has five special committees that oversee Awards, Environmental Health, Membership, Nominations, and Policy.

WFPHA Executive Board
The WFPHA Executive Board, which works in conjunction with the WFPHA Officers, is comprised of 6-12 representatives from WFPHA member countries. Each Executive Board Member serves a three-year term and no country is permitted to serve for more than three consecutive terms. Typically, each region of the world, as defined by the World Health Organization regional distribution of countries, is represented on the Executive Board.
